Copyright and Takedown Policy

1. Reporting content

Releases hosts software and materials at the direction of customers. If you believe hosted content infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, email legal@mateality.com with the subject “Takedown notice.”

• Identify the protected work or right and, where relevant, its registration.
• Identify the exact Releases URL, custom domain, application, and version at issue.
• Explain why the use is unauthorized and include evidence sufficient for us to assess the claim.
• Provide your name, organization, postal address, email, and telephone number.
• State in good faith that the complained-of use is not authorized and that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
• Provide a physical or electronic signature.

2. Our response

We may ask for more information, forward the notice to the customer, temporarily restrict access, remove content, or preserve evidence. We consider the claim, applicable law, public-interest exceptions, open-source licenses, and the risk of harm. Submitting a knowingly false notice may create liability.

3. Counter-notice

A customer may send a counter-notice identifying the removed material, explaining in good faith why removal was mistaken, providing contact details, accepting the jurisdiction required by applicable law, and including a signature. We may restore content when legally permitted unless the claimant begins appropriate legal proceedings within the applicable period.

4. Repeat infringement and urgent harm

We may terminate repeat or egregious infringers in appropriate circumstances. For malware, compromised releases, impersonation, or imminent safety risk, contact abuse@mateality.com or security@mateality.com instead of using the copyright process.
